Yes, this 3 floor restaurant has an elevator and the elevator will take you to the roof top patio, that is only open on the nice weather days.

When was this place built?

The Boathose has been in opperation since 1981 not sure how old the building is but I suspect it was built for the boathouse restaurant chain.

Nothing is free in white Rock lol

Where is the cheescake in the new cheesecake desert? Just seemed like bits of cake stuck together with very little of something creamy white to me. Should be called Raspberry cake, I couldn't taste any cheesecake.

What are the parking options like?

There is actually a secret parking garage towards the hill and the cul de sac behind the boathouse. People always miss 2-3 spots in there on an average day. On a busy day you still might get one. Otherwise best best is all the way west on west beach.

Can we make a reservation on the rooftop?

no you can not
